In one paragraph. OurFolks stores what your family types into it — and nothing else. There are no ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs, and we never sell or share your data with anyone. Only the members of a care circle can see that circle. The developer sees aggregate counts (how many circles exist, how many doses were confirmed this week), never names, notes or medical details. You can delete your account, and everything personal to you, from inside the app at any time.
OurFolks is developed and operated by lekkrami mostafa, an individual developer based in Casablanca, Morocco ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: moustapha71@gmail.com.
We only collect what you or a member of your family enters. We do not collect anything from your contacts, photos, location or other apps.

Much of this is health information about another person. By entering it you confirm that you are that person's family member or caregiver and that you have their permission, or the legal authority, to record it. The app asks you to confirm that the person knows the log exists. OurFolks is not a surveillance tool.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or training any machine-learning model, and we do not sell it. Ever.
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and data is encrypted at rest by our provider. Access is enforced inside the database with row-level security: every request is checked against your circle membership, so an account can only ever read the circles it belongs to. Your sign-in credentials on the device are kept in the operating system's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). No system is perfectly secure; if we ever learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you promptly.
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (Profile → Delete account):
The owner of a circle can delete the whole circle at any time. Backups held by our provider are purged within 7 days.
Wherever you live, you can access and correct your data directly in the app, export a summary (the "For the doctor" page), and delete your account. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you also have the rights to data portability, restriction and objection, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; our legal bases are your consent (for health information about the person you care for) and the performance of our service to you (for your account). If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the rights to know, delete and correct, and we honor them without selling or sharing data in the first place. Some US states (for example Washington's My Health My Data Act) treat the information in OurFolks as consumer health data. This section is our consumer health data privacy policy. We collect the categories listed in section 2, from you and the members of your circle only, for the purposes in section 3. We share it only with the members of your circle and the service providers in section 4. We do not sell it. You may withdraw consent, request access or deletion, and appeal a decision by writing to moustapha71@gmail.com.
OurFolks is for adults organizing the care of a family member. It is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Your data is stored in the region named in section 4. If you use the app from another country, your data travels to that region. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses provided by our service provider.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
