How OurFolks works

Create a care log for the person you look after: their name, birth year, and what a doctor should know in an emergency.
Invite your brothers and sisters with the code in Profile → The circle. Only the owner of the log can invite. Everyone invited sees the whole log.
Add the treatments with their times. Each day, the person who gives a dose taps Confirm; everyone else sees it immediately, with the name and the time.
Note what you observe, write down questions for the doctor, plan appointments.
Before a consultation, open For the doctor: the app prepares a one-page summary you can print or share as a PDF.

Frequent questions

I entered the invitation code and nothing happened

Codes are valid for 14 days and can be used once. Ask the owner of the log to generate a new one from Profile → The circle → Invite.

Reminders don't show up

Reminders are scheduled on your phone, not sent from a server, so the phone must allow them. Check Settings → Notifications → OurFolks, and on Android also disable battery optimization for the app ("Unrestricted"). Reminders are a convenience, not a safeguard — please don't rely on them alone.

Someone confirmed a dose by mistake

Tap the undo arrow next to the confirmation on the Today screen. The confirmation is removed for everyone.

I want to leave a log, or remove my account

Leave a log from Profile → The circle. Delete your whole account from Profile → Delete account: your notes and questions are erased; logs you share with others stay for them, with your name removed from the history. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Can the developer read our log?

No. Access is enforced inside the database: only members of a circle can read it. The developer sees anonymous totals — how many logs exist, how many doses were confirmed this week — never names, notes or medical details.

Is this medical advice?

No. OurFolks records what your family enters. It does not diagnose, recommend or decide anything. For any medical question, ask the treating doctor or pharmacist; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
